Pastor. Aimable Ruzima is graduate in Nursing Sciences, Sociologist and he is MBA Candidate at Mount Kenya University/Rwanda, he is currently Pastor at New Jerusalem Church in Rwanda and General Secretary in its Executive Board, He is also the Chief Operations Officer at Bonus Industries Ltd.
Pastor, Aimable is among the Founders of Rwanda Palliative Care and Hospices Organization (RPCHO) and one of its Board members, and recently, he has been elected as treasurer in the Board of Rwanda Non-communicable Diseases Alliance (RNCDA). He is also a trainer in Palliative Care at the national level and Africa francophone countries and trainer in Trauma Recovery using SPRUCE model from the International Institute for Trauma Recovery, Ohio-USA.
Pastor Aimable has worked with the institution of Research and Dialogue for Peace (IRDP) from 2013-2017 as in charge of Monitoring and evaluation Researcher where he has implemented successfully the Rwanda Peace Education Project.
Before joining the IRDP, Pastor Aimable was working with IntraHealth International Inc. from 2004-2012 as Clinical services Officer and his contribution to implementation and integration of HIV/AIDS services including Palliative Care Services in health facilities was highly valued in the Rwanda Country.
From 1998-2004, Pastor Aimable was working with the National Assistance Funds for Genocide Survivors (FARG) in quality of Deputy Director of Health Department and coordinator of Trauma counseling project.
Finally, Pastor Aimable has been Supervisor of former Byumba Province and District health facilities from 1995-1998 as in charge of maternal and child health and family planning (MCH/FP).
Pastor Aimable is convinced that there is a possibility to light the human capacity for goodness, caring, love, joy and for peace. The word of God in Jeremiah 33:6 says that:”…I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security”.
